Our Mission

At Sol Avenue, we believe style should never come at the cost of the planet. That is why every piece of our swimwear is made using REPREVE® Nylon, created from 100% recycled post-industrial waste — things like fabric scraps and yarn off-cuts that would otherwise go into our landfill.

Why We Believe in REPREVE®

We chose REPREVE® as it comes with certifications we can stand behind. It’s fully traceable under the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means we know what’s going into our fabrics and how they’re made.

The GRS gives us confidence that the nylon truly is recycled, while also ensuring it’s produced responsibly with respect for people and the planet. Where the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 verifies our swimwear is tested against more than 1,000 harmful substances and ensures it’s safe for you to wear everyday.

How REPREVE Nylon is Made
  1. Collection: It all starts with pre-consumer nylon waste, like fabric scraps and off-cuts, which are gathered and carefully sorted
  2. Recycling: Here the waste is broken down, cleaned, and restored into pure, high-quality nylon — giving it a brand-new life.
  3. Resin Formation: The recycled nylon is then transformed into resin and marked with FiberPrint® tracer technology.
  4. Fibre Spinning: Finally, the resin is melted and spun into soft, durable REPREVE® Nylon yarn — ready to be made into timeless swimwear you’ll wear again and again.

Our Commitment

We are passionate about reducing the impact of fast fashion. By producing our swimwear in limited quantities and using recycled nylon fabrics, ethically made in Indonesia, we’re doing our part to reduce waste and lessen our impact.

By giving discarded materials a second life, we’re creating swimwear that supports a more sustainable future. Every bikini is a conscious choice — for you, and for the planet.

With Love,
